Independent Studies:  Aircraft Measurement Systems (AtSc 594-02)

Overview
    The syllabus describes the requirements and procedures for Aircraft Measurement Systems (AtSc 594). Students are responsible for knowing class syllabus material; hence, please read the syllabus carefully. Any changes will be announced through email. Students are responsible for keeping up to date with class material. Continued enrollment in the course is your implicit agreement to abide by the class requirements.

     The class will meet Tuesday and Thursday at 1:00-2:15 Central United States time starting on Tuesday, August 23. You can attend in person or via Zoom ID 948 8934 2367.  Class meetings will be recorded and available on the Class Web site. The class is similar to past Measurement System classes; however, the class focus is on cloud physics instruments deployed for 2023 NASA IMPACTS field project. Unlike previous Measurement System classes, the is designed to be very difficult and to cover a lot of material.  In general, a B grade would cover students that fail on many class labs and assignments.  While an A grade would cover students that fail quickly
on class labs and assignments.
