Overview
The syllabus describes the requirements and procedures for Applied Weather Modification (AtSc 252) class. Students are responsible for knowing class syllabus material; hence, please read the syllabus carefully. Any changes will be announced through email to your University of North Dakota (UND) Blackboard site and via email. Students are responsible for keeping up to date with class material. Continued enrollment in the course is your implicit agreement to abide by the class requirements. The black board site will be used for taking quizzes, exams, and for grade book; while, the Class Website will be used to distribute link, videos and class session recorded via zoom.

    Discussion: Complete 2026 Undergraduate Research & Scholarly Activity Celebration-Student Call for Participation [html]. Students may take part in one of the following roles:
  1.   Early Researcher Student Ambassador – Just getting started and ready to share how they began
  2.   Developing Scholar Student Ambassador – Actively building skills or making progress
  3.   Completed Project Presenter – Ready to share final results
    Note:  The first two roles lead corresponding conversation areas; one focused on getting started and the other on developing early skills. In these spaces, students engage visitors, answer questions, and encourage peers to explore research. These are also the two spaces where faculty may join to support conversations (see Faculty Participation below). The third role is for students presenting completed projects in the traditional research showcase. Faculty may support their own students in this space as they typically would at any showcase.
