Software modules used to process and analyze UND
citation data are listed below, along with a short description of each command.
To find the syntax of any of the commands type the given command
at a shell prompt with a -help option, i.e. "cplot -help".
alpha_cal
Calibration routine to determine the alpha angle calibration
coefficients.
apply_edits
Applies data edits to *.raw data file to create
a *.clean data file.
avgfields
Averages ASCII data files. Used to create
4Hz or 1Hz data files from high frequency 25 Hz data files.
beta_cal
Calibration routine to determine the beta angle
calibration coefficients.
ccn_conc
Data level 3 processing module to calculate the
CCN concentration.
cn_conc
Data level 3 processing module to calculate the
CN concentration.
convert_sbet
Converts the 200 Hz post processed binary applanix files to a 25 Hz ASCII
file in the standard "NASA" format.
cplot
Data plotting software module.
fssp_corrections
Data level 3 processing module to take the raw
counts in the FSSP channels to calculate the FSSP concentration using the
necessary corrections.
hoffset_cal
Calibration routine to determine the offset between
the aircraft heading angle and track angle.
icing
Data level 3 processing module to calculate the
liquid water content and icing rate from the Rosemount icing probe.
king2lwc
Data level 3 processing module to calculate the
liquid water content from King Probe measurements.
king_calib
Calibration module to use data from Citation flight
to determine the King Probe calibration parameters.
mergefields
Combines parameters from two ASCII data files to
create a new merged data file.
onedp2counts
Data Level 2 processing module to convert the binary
*.1dp file to the *.fssp.counts.4Hz ASCII file.
scale
Scales ASCII data files by appling on a slope and
offset to a field.
setfssp
Calibration module to determine the channel sizes
based on FSSP calibration information.
subset
Subsets ASCII data files based on a parameter list
and/or start and end times.
tdl2humidity
Data Level 3 processing
module to calculate TDL parameters.
voltage2physical
Data Level 2 processing module converts raw measured voltages
to physical units. Currently the module processes basic temperature/pressure
data and has options to process Applanix and TDL data.
winds_cal
Calibration routine to determine the pitot nose
and pitot wing calibration coefficients. Uses reverse tracks flight
data.
winds_file
Data Level 3 processing module used to create the "*.wind.txt"
and "*.SBET.winds.txt" data file.
